Can we request the sheriff to conduct more night visits up & down some of the streets in our neighborhood? Regards, Aaron

    Marilyn Fowler just commented that:
This morning at 5 am a bicycle was sitting in the street on fairway right around the corner from St. Andrews. I checked around and there was no one in the area and I called the sheriff to report the bike. When I arrived back home at 6:30 am there was a decorative cannon sitting in my moms yard and I also found out that a car was broken into across the street from us. Sheriff came out again, found cannon, left it to return to whomever it belongs to (if anyone is missing a small decorative cannon let me know). Then learned that the bike that was left in street was left behind when they took my other neighbor’s new bicycle. This all occurred on fairway and St. Andrews.

It was Randy Giumarra’s new Tahoe. So crazy people can do that and not get caught. -Jennifer Antongiovanni

I saw a shaved head Mexican male, estimated 25-35 years old. Riding his bike down fairway on his phone, looking down each street about 5pm yesterday. He could have been marking vehicles. – Mike Dewar

    Jodi Sands just commented that:
Sometime early this morning someone tried to steal the wheels/tires of my husbands truck that was parked in our driveway at 6420 Mt. Rainier. They removed all the lug nuts but one from each tire, we think the individuals trying to take them were scared off by our dogs continuos barking.

It has come to my attention that all 4 tires were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence on Yosemite Place last night. Must have occurred sometime between 11p and 5a. If you have any information please respond to this post. – Barbara Lee

We returned home Saturday night at 9:30 pm to see our front yard on Hume Lane covered in toilet paper:
Note to the parents who supply the paper and the kids who choose to vandalize someone’s home as a prank:
Decorate your own home next time & save your neighbors the fun job of cleaning it up!

Good News. The BPD arrested a man with the Pandol’s camera. Don’t have all the details yet but they did dust for fingerprints in the vehicle. The BPD stated that thieves can break into cars without breaking windows and to please never leave any visible belongings in the car.

Camera equipment and some cash were stolen from the Pandol’s parked vehicle last night. It was in their driveway. No broken windows so they fear they may have left it unlocked however with today’s technology, thieves can get it without breaking windows. Please post if you have any information. Thank you.

Interesting article in today’s Californian. A theft from a vehicle occurred between 4 and 9 am on 7/5. The time of the offense and description of the suspect vehicle sound very similar to the car Jeff described: “Blue Ford Expedition with light colored trim and chrome wheels with a distinct five-hole pattern.” We were unable to bring up the picture of the car that Jeff submitted. Just wonder if it could be a match.
