A lost dog report from Michele Ming on Fairway Drive. Please share this information with neighbors.
I have a little very scared chihuahua tied up across the street at my neighbors on Mt Ranier. She was running across the street and so I finally got her on a leash and tied her up there so anyone looking for her can see her. I have tree trimmers today, so I couldn’t put her in my yard on Fairway.

Lost dog belonging to Ellen Ansolabehere on Tam O’Shanter.
“Our schnauzer got out of our yard sometime after 8:30pm on Friday. She’s chipped & wearing a red collar with our name. Praying for her safe return as she’s old, somewhat blind, & hard of hearing.”

If you have seen their dog please contact Ellen or Gilbert at eansolabehere@bak.rr.com or 837-9424

Sharing a post this morning from “Nextdoor Stockdale Estates”
We arrived home to find that the main power to our house had been deliberately shut off. Our alarm shows the power was shut off at 11:30am. Our breaker panel was open and the gate that’s usually locked, unlocked. Has anyone else experienced this? Wondered if that was a way to see who was home and who wasn’t. Those who were home when they returned would have power back on. Those out of town wouldn’t know to turn power back on and would still have breaker off. All of our food in fridges and freezers was destroyed, as power was off for 12 hours.

A silver grey sedan has been seen in our neighborhood several times slowly driving all the streets and cul de sacs. They look suspicious as if they are “checking things out”. The first few numbers of the license plate are 63VV . It is a newer model car and is driven by a woman. Many people are not home due to spring break so please watch for our neighbors here in Old Stockdale and be aware. Thanks.

Hi, we had a business card in our mailbox yesterday. Can you tell us what business was being promoted so I know if that was the same group who was in my mailbox? Our mail was light yesterday. Thanks, Christy

The following information was posted by Christine Wensley on Nextdoor Stockdale Estates.
Also, our postman told me that there seems to be an increase in mail theft during the weekends between midnight and 3am. Please put a “stop/hold” on your mail or ask a neighbor to collect it if you are going to be out of town.
Please keep posting any problems or concerns so we can all stay informed. Mikie & Barbara

“Last night my husband came home about 5:45 to the area of Fairway and Fairlane. He observed a group of young Hispanic persons opening mailboxes to place business cards in them but long enough to thoroughly look through each mailbox’s contents. He approached these people and told them to stop. They attempted to argue with him and then attempted to continue saying that they would then place the cards on the front door of the residences. He then took his phone out and took pictures of them and told them to get out of the neighborhood now. That was when one of the females said in Spanish to one of the males that they should leave because he was going to call the cops and immigration. My husband then called the Sheriff’s department, gave a report, turned over the photos and got one of the cards. Had these guys came earlier in the day they would have found a new credit card in our mail. If anyone believes they had mail stolen yesterday please know we did make the report.
