Please let me know if any one has thoughts about what we can do to protect our mail. Are you going to resort to getting a PO Box? If we are not home when the mail is delivered I am not sure what we can do? Should we think about a central location with locking mail boxes? Please let me know your thoughts! Thank you, Sheri

Found out today that our mail box was robbed something last week. Only know because a package was delivered (which we never got) and the mail lady remembers putting it in our box! Coincidentally, I ran off a car that was parked at the end of our street (where the fence has been boarded up-Kane and Mt. Lassen)…metallic beige older Acura. Girl was driving -young 18-14 of Asian decent with Mail passenger Hispanic 18-24. I watched them drive down Kane and flip a U and park. They were watching something. I stopped and glared and wrote down the license plate. They quickly exited the neighborhood driving in excess of 40-50mph. I called in the car to the sheriff’s’ office.

It seems our mail was stolen out of our mailbox, also on Hume Lane, the same day.

Our mail was stolen out of our mail box on Monday December 10th. Our mailperson left us a note yesterday, that another home on Hume Lane had their mail taken as well on Monday.

My husband noticed his cars glove compartment papers were left spread all over the front seat of his car this morning. This happened in our driveway. Thank God they didn’t cause any damage and nothing was taken, however, someone going thru your car is unnerving. Please make sure your car is locked and alarms are on.
